Come see the 17th Annual Jazz Feast in Princeton New Jersey

Well it’s just about that time of year again for the annual Jazz Feast that will be held on September 20, 2008 in Palmer Square.  If you’ve never been before, then it’s quite an experience.  The green on Palmer Square is set up with a large tent that houses the performers, and the audience sits around outside the tent.  While chairs are provided, if you don’t get there early expect to stand up, or bring your own chair.  The small streets around Palmer Square are closed to traffic so that food vendors can set-up small stands to sell their tasty treats.
 
This year you can expect five different acts to perform in order of appearance, Alan Dale & the New Legacy Jazz Band, Daryl Sherman Group, Harry Allen Group, Eddie Polcer Group, and the Princeton University Jazztet.  The first group starts at 12pm and the last finishes at 6pm.  Many of the areas most famous eateries will be selling food, including Alchemist & Barrister, Buzzetta Festival Foods, Chez Alice Gourmet Cafe & Bakery, Masala Grill, Mediterra, Mehek, Teresa Caffe, Tico's, Triumph Brewery, Olives, Thomas Sweet, Tiger Noodles, Tigers Tale, The Original Soupman, Yankee Doodle Tap Room and Winberies.
 
The Jazz Feast is fun for both young and old, so enjoy the tunes and get something good to eat.  This event is held rain or shine.  Posted 9/1/08.
